When booking flight-inclusive package holidays or flight-plus arrangements with Worldwide Cruises (UK), you can book knowing your travel arrangements are ATOL Protected, which means they are financially protected by the Civil Aviation Authority (under our ATOL licence number 3448 Benz Travel Ltd)
When you book an ATOL Protected holiday (flight inclusive) from us, you will receive an ATOL Certificate as soon as you have paid the money. The certificate explains your protection, what is included and what to do if things go wrong.
ATOL stands for Air Travel Organiser’s Licence and by law every UK-based travel company that sells air holidays has to have one and is required to issue an ATOL certificate as soon as customers pay any money towards their trip. If an ATOL protected travel company goes under, the people who’ve booked holidays with it will be protected. That means you won’t lose your money and if you’re abroad at the time you’ll be flown home. So take your ATOL certificate with you and keep it handy
Many of the flights and flight-inclusive holidays are financially protected by the ATOL scheme but ATOL protection does not apply to all holiday and travel services. For example where a confirmed airline ticket is issued immediately to the consumer in exchange for payment then this would constitute an Airline Ticket Agent sale and therefore not be covered by our ATOL as you already hold a valid travel document.
ATOL PROTECTION – WHAT’S COVERED AND WHAT’S NOT COVERED
ATOL Protection applies to most overseas air holidays which are booked in the UK. The fly cruises shown on this website are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is ATOL 3448.
You won’t be ATOL Protected if you book a Holiday with no flights. All non-fly cruises sold in the UK are not protected by ATOL. Please see our booking conditions for more information and if in doubt ask us to confirm what protection may apply to your booking.
If you book part of your holiday at different times, you may not be protected. You should book your travel arrangements within a day of each other to receive ATOL protection. Please ask us to confirm what protection may apply to your booking. If you do not receive an ATOL Certificate then the booking will not be ATOL protected. If you receive an ATOL Certificate but some of the travel arrangements are not listed, those will not be ATOL protected.
